The Psychology Clinic of East Anglia.
Established in 2006, PCEA is a multidisciplinary team of expert Practitioner Psychologists and allied health professionals based in Norwich, Norfolk, and practising across the Midlands, South, and East of England.
With years of combined experience in evidence-based practice and research, we provide a renowned and trusted expert witness service for family courts, and also a neurodevelopmental assessment and diagnostic service for individual families.
We are committed to ensuring that children and young people receive the understanding and support they need to thrive.
Recognising the unique challenges of working in family law as a lone practitioner psychologist, PCEA has evolved into a tight-knit community sharing a wide range of skills and expertise, under the direction of Dr Mark Hardiman and Dr Cassie Jackson.
As our organisation grows, we are always excited to welcome new practitioners into our connected team of experts. We are proud to offer everyone at PCEA the training, supervision and support they need to build upon their professional skills and continue to make a difference.
The children and families seen by our team benefit from more than 100 years of combined experience in evidence-based practice and research and our commitment to the highest standard of care and support.
Together, we place the welfare of the children we see at the heart of everything we do.
Our approach and philosophy
PCEA is a psychology clinic. This means that we are much more than a referral agency. We are a specialist centre for expert psychological assessments within family courts and a trusted voice in the field of paediatric neuropsychology and neurodevelopment.
We set high standards for our work, continually reflecting upon what we are doing and how we do it. We also place a firm focus on training and development for the clinicians and staff who work with us, ensuring that all of our work meets the high standards we set—and that we know others expect of us. We understand that our name and reputation matters.
Every PCEA associate is supported in their career, with regular supervision and training offered to help them attain their goals. We are also research active, with our work directly contributing to national policy and direction. Our team of psychologists include nationally recognised experts as well as members of British Psychological Society committees and representatives on key professional bodies such as the HCPC.
Ultimately, PCEA is a community. A place where clinicians can feel that they have joined a connected team and where our staff are the heart of who we are.
For families thinking of approaching us for assessments, PCEA’s dedication to clinical quality and to supporting our staff and professionals means that the work we do for you and your child will be to the highest standards and relentlessly focussed on the unique needs of your child.
Equally, professionals seeking to instruct us can feel assured that PCEA will always work to the highest professional standards and that we understand the need to deliver work on time.
