FASD Neuropsychological Assessment

This assessment will be conducted by Dr Cassie Jackson or a member of the Neurodevelopmental Team under Dr Jackson’s supervision and involves a comprehensive evaluation of your child’s developmental and cognitive functioning. This includes assessment of intellectual ability, executive functioning, adaptive functioning, memory, and academic attainment.

This package is most appropriate for children who have received diagnoses of co-occurring conditions such as ASD and/or ADHD and who require a further Neuropsychological Assessment to confirm an FASD diagnosis.

It is also suitable for children and young people already diagnosed with FASD who will benefit from a comprehensive Neuropsychological Assessment to better understand their functioning and support needs. This can be particularly important at key transition points, such as moving to secondary school and planning for independence in late adolescence.
