This assessment will be conducted by Dr Cassie Jackson or a member of the Neurodevelopmental Team under Dr Jackson’s supervision alongside one of our specialist Speech and Language Therapists.
The Neuropsychological Assessment provides a comprehensive picture of your child’s developmental and cognitive functioning, including intellectual ability, executive functioning, adaptive functioning, memory, and academic attainment.
The Speech and Language Assessment provides a detailed picture of your child’s receptive and expressive language, with further assessment of abstract reasoning, social communication, and pragmatics.
This package is most appropriate for children who have already received diagnoses of co-occurring conditions such as ASD and/or ADHD and who require Neuropsychological and Speech and Language Assessments to confirm an FASD diagnosis.
It is also suitable for children and young people already diagnosed with FASD but who will benefit from comprehensive Neuropsychological and Speech and Language Assessments to better understand their functioning and support needs. This can be particularly important during key transition periods such as moving to secondary school or planning for independence in late adolescence.
